Project: Seating Prototypes

Upcycled experimental furniture prototypes using computer-aided routing to minimize material waste, and maximize perceived radness. The upcycled part comes from being a poor student, having access to cool tools, but no money for materials – hence the need to get the most out of one sheet of plywood. Necessity sure is the mother of invention.

The 3% Strategy was a campaign to raise awareness of local land-use issues and offer a practical solution for the future of balanced and sustainable growth through policy making. My role was to visualize and produce the marketing image and information graphics that communicated the strategy while making it stand out among typical policy initiatives.
Project: Blueprint Jordan River – Graphics and Layout

The Blueprint Jordan River document was the culmination of a two-year long planning effort for restoring a central Salt Lake Valley river. My role as lead graphic designer and illustrator became especially important in the final stages of communication and document delivery.
